Lizardmen - Temple

Image
A surprisingly simple and quick project to make an Aztec style temple out of high density blue foam. Base layer, a simple square of foam, with stone outlines pressed in using a sharp pencil. All 3 layers cut to size, along with pieces to make the stair cases. Each layer was cut to give about a 40mm gap.  Each layer inscribed, and painted up brown with a dry brush.

Lizardmen - Troops

Terradon riders - in a funky disruptive paint scheme Kroxigor - large lizards, a bit like Ogres. These are 15mm figures, now available through Minibits At the rear Saurus Warriors, the main stay of the Lizardmen army. At the front Skinks, the brains of the army, these troops act as skirmishers.

Overview of the core troops of the Lizardmen army. Back Row, Terradon riders, kroxigor, then more terradon riders Middle Row, Cold One Riders, Saurus Warriors in two blocks and more Cold One Riders Front Row, 3 blocks of Skinks All these figures are Pendraken.

Lizardmen - Saurus Warriors

Pendraken Tribal Lizardmen, painted in early 2015. These are based 4 figures to a 40x20mm base. While the figures aren't that big, their poses are quite wide which means a fairly low density on the base. They carry flag staffs that are rather cross shaped, these could do with some modifications.

Lizardmen - storage

A couple of overhead shots of the Lizardmen army Dinosaurs, Flyers, Cavalry and Infantry Salamanders and Skinks An assortment of figures after a basing session This army is predominately Pendraken, with the Cold One Riders, Terradons, Sarus and Skinks all from Pendraken. When these figures were purchased they were part of the Tribal Lizardman range, I think these are now just Lizardmen, as the older Lizardmen range has been retired. The Kroxigor, are from the 15mm Lizardman range from Minibits The Dinosaurs are from Magister Militum's large range of 10mm dinosaurs. The Salamanders are Games Workshop, from the Warmaster range - very distinctive figures that are hard to find proxies from other manufacturers. The figures have mixed basing, with the infantry on Warmaster style 40x20mm bases, and the cavalry on 40mm squares.
